EXPLORING THE GEOLOGY MUSEUM, BANDUNG

Hi, It’s me again... Um... where should I start?

Um... OK. Here I go..

This is starting after we fulfilled our hungry passion for lunch. OK I exaggerated. I mean, I and my classmates went to Ramen Shop for eating Ramen for lunch. That post could be read here : Jigoku Ramen

After that we still wanna hang out around our lovely Bandung. And it has been decided if we will go to Taman Lansia (Lansia Park), a city park near Gedung Sate (Iconic Building for West Java Government).

We are. Youngster that reckless and stubborn. To reach our destination (Taman Lansia) from Ramen Shop, we ride motorcycle. We only have 2 people that have motorcycle, so we’re splitted. Ugun+Wati, Wimal+Adel+Me. Can you imagined how that condition was?? We really abandoned police’s rule, moreover the passenger, the girls (not the driver) ride that without helmet! OMG please don’t follow our bad act.T_T

Fortunately we are follow the little street for avoid the main street, but there’s a bad news, wanna or not, we have to riding on next main street to reach our destination. And we’re panicking when we saw a police in that road. Finally, the passenger ride down and we are, the girls walk away, just for safety and we don’t want to be a bad guys.. *cough*angel imitated here*cough* 

When we’re dicussing about how to reach our desination withour riding motorcycles then I suggest Adel+ Wati to use commute, it’s because I’m the real commuter, so I’m OK with that thing. I said if the route will passed Geology Museum which is infront of the Taman Lansia, but then suddenly Adel said we are better go to Museum than to the Park. OK. It decided, we agreed!! We communicate the boys via wh*tsapp to change destination, the boys agree and they will buy the ticket if they arrive there at first.

And somehow we’re remembering Septa, another girls in the class. She isn’t with us because she has a TOEFL exam schedule, unfortunately when we said this sudden plan to Septa, she  already went home... Auw.. Next time we should go together then.. :( 

After a while.. there we are!!! A museum? Ticket were bought by us for IDR.2000,-/person.

I couldn’t believe it, finally I step my feet again on here after years skipped. 

Last time I visited this museum when I was a Junior High.

We are,um.. I mean.. me.. I am really excited!!!

First we enter museum, we cursed ourselves which visited this museum on the Saturday when the visitor arised in great numbers, mostly junior high and we arrive at 12.30 that mean we only have 1.30 hours before the museum closed at 2.00.

But it was OK. I don’t wanna lose this chance. And here we go again, we explore this museum. First we heading to 2nd floor where it’s about mineral knowledge and natural disaster explanation that caused by geological thing. In the part about Mineral and Mining we could see various of gemstones!! So beautiful! ruby, saphire, jade etc.. OMG I wan’t it all!! Can I have them all??? LOL

Then we learn (sounds like a class) about hydrocarbon (oil) and another mineral, we know about the various stone that used along in the history, accessories from the past, various ores etc. In the Natural Disaster section we learn about mount eruption, tsunami even earthquake!!

A little interesting story about earthquake, there’s a simulator for earthquake based on measurement of its earthquake scale. I dont know how the Richter was, it just written model 1 and model 2. We are (the girls) esp Adel want to try that, but the queue is long, all of ‘em is the jr.high. Ow please I’m an adult how can I fight with the kids so I can use that tool, but in the other side maybe I can used this seniority to expelled them away? *smirk* ahahaha I’m joking of course we didn’t do that. 

Fortunately there’s anouncement if the Jr students have to go to 1st floor. Yeay!!! Finally we tried that simulator with model 2, and it success make us dizzy. The shake was strong enough.

Therefor, we go down to 1st floor, there are many specimens of fossil. Mammoth, Dinosaur, something like Buffalo, and primordial man were there, even we could see clams shell, and fossil of trees. It’s amazing!

But you know what is the more amazing?

Yes! Exactly! We took our photos almost in front of the specimen that we thought it is cool xD. We saw a father who posed in front of mammoth with weird pose, we laugh at him, but we imitated him in the end. LOL.

This ‘taking-a-picture’ time continuing even until we exit from the museum, because in the outside of the museum we still found the interesting objects (rock/stone, sarcophagus etc) and even the beauty of that museum it self is an elegant object. It’s because Geology Museum’s building architechture is made from the Netherland Era in Indonesia, it has an Europe Style :)

We only consist of 5 people, so if we wanna our members complete in a photo, we asked a stranger to take the picture for us. Whatsoever because it was FUN!!

And we share our pics on group (in order to save the complete pic by ourselves) but it made Kang Suryo (another classmate) shocked. He said we’re strange younger in this era for liking to hang out to the Museum.LOL.

We are hippies?? Um.. ofcourse not!! We are not that kind of oldies!! xD

Once again whatever... people might be think person who visit museum is nerd. But I don’t care, we’re found it interesting anyway!

Another museum??? We aren't hesitate to discover it later!!!

JIGOKU RAMEN - BANDUNG A WORTH MENU FOR CHEAP PRICES

Ramen??

What is the thing that flying on our head when heard or read or see or even write that word? Japan Noodles? Yesss!!! That’s correct because I did that too.

The reason why I write this story because I’d just hang out with my classmates on past Saturday 24/05/2014 for eating Ramen. In the end of our class, we felt really bored (actually during the class, we were just talking about this ramen in socmed –whats*pp- when lecture explained the lessons --*cough*rebel*cough*)

In the end, we are going to go to this Ramen Shop. Though at first we doubted if there’s a resto that has opened in 10 AM for lunch. Lol.

Fortunatelly we reach this Ramen Shop at 11, it’s JIGOKU RAMEN. Gladly the resto has opened and almost full, but we still have another space for us without waiting list! Yeay! So, the rumour about this resto that really wellknown with its price and numerous waiting lists it was true! We saw it by ourselves.

This Ramen Shop -JIGOKU RAMEN- is Adel’s reccomendation, we agree to follow Adels as we curious about it. Actually my another friend El/Elis has told to me about this JIGOKU RAMEN before Adel was, but unfortunatelly I just have time when I was with this classmates.

 (P/S Hey I write JIGOKU RAMEN several times, more over this post about it. I should get the fee for this advertising! Lol).

Anyway, should I mention my classmates that hangout in this ramen shop? OK. There’re Mbak Era, Ugun (Gunawan), Wimal (The Chairman), Wati, Adel and me.

We ordered our own choices, too bad I can’t remember those various menu except Adel’s Jigoku taste (sort of taste), Ugun and Wimal with their Jumbo Ramen, and ofcourse mine with my Katsu Ramen.

For beverages I forgot again what were ordered by my friends except me and Ugun with our own Lime Ice, Wimal with his (weird) Thai Tea (not means that tea is weird, but I just don’t like Thai tea, because it similar with Indonesian milktea and I don’t really like it) and mbak Era’s green tea (ow~ I do love green tea ever <3). 

Review : 

1.       The picture that displayed in the Book’s Menu really similar with the meal that we received!! I amazed of that, and the portion is perfect.  

2.       I definitely loved original ramens, but eventhough this ramen has been improved so it has lot of taste, rich with seasoning which has been adapted for Indonesian taste, but it didn’t bad at all, more over it was DELICIOUS! And I admitted if Jigoku Taste (ramen flavourous with something like citrus leaf make it perfect). It DELICIOUS. Ah, I forgot 2 Best Taste for dressing based on Adels were Ultimate, and Jigoku. But I choosed Soyu because I loved original Japan taste even more. 

3.       And about the spicy. You can choose your own level, 1,3,5 is free, higher than that, spicy sauce will be charged per level. I don’t like to be spicy so I just choose level 1 because I’ve to be careful on spicy, Ugun choosed level 5, I tasted it and it definitely crazy for me :-|

4.       The portion is perfect, jumbo was perfect for guy, because it’s hugeee. And normal for female like me, but tbh, when I choosed Katsu Ramen, that Chicken Katsu only (without its ramen and dressing) already make me full at that time.

5.       The beverages that showed in display really similar with the beverages that we drink. I reccomend Lime Ice. It’s Fresh, Sweet, Sour and more ever delicious. Auwww I LOVEEDD that really.

6.       The last but not the least of course the PRICE!!! How can I believed if my Ramen + Beverage below Rp. 25000,-??? It is cheaper than another ramen shop!! But trust me it worth!!! Really!!

Notes :

• Remember with the waiting list rumour.It’s true because we couldn’t stay longer just for taking chit and chat after we ate, and stand by at 11 AM if you wanna safe and get the space.
• I heard if this Resto has theme each day, such as horror movie for Friday night or candle light dinner for Saturday night. GREAT IDEAS.
• This ramen has various menus with average price but it really worthed. This ramen shop around University of Widyatama Bandung. If you wanna know the route with commute or private vehicle just ask me. More over you can search it by yourselves

MY FRIEND’S ONCE IN A LIFETIME LUCKY CHANCE!!
GOING TO UNIVERSITY OF TOKYO (TOKYO DAIGAKUEN/TODAI) FOR FREE!!!

UEHAS SHORT COURSE PROGRAM.

Hi everyone, I wanna talk about short course abroad for now. Um... It’s similar with student exchange or it’s indeed student exchange? Well Idk. I have no experience with that stuffs.

Thursday or Friday, in the end of April 2014, our only 10 students in a class got shocked. Why? because our class chairman, just called him Wimal (yea~ his name’s Wimal) announced if our program got the offer from University to send candidate for UEHAS (Urban Environment and Health in Asia) Short Program that will be held in University of Tokyo.

OMG. OMG. OMG. NO WAY!!!

The most shocking person is absolutely ME!! You know, University of Tokyo?! Are you kidding me?! Maannn... for  all Japan lovers, who is the one who never heard or didn’t know anything about that University?

I mean.. Hellowww.. It’s TODAI which is in television always appear as University that difficult to be broken, many films or doramas showed how difficult to pass the entrance exam, and this is the number one University in Japan.

I excited. Bilion times I’ve got excited!!! But the excitement going down as if I fallen from a cliff when I knew if application has to be submitted by the next week.

Are you kidding me?? I don’t know if infos that have gotten by us seems received too late for our class. Idk about that, but first of all.. I dont want time beat me. My friend and I who wanna try it have to run in a rush.

UEHAS Program is event that held once a year from University of Tokyo, concerned in public health and environment if I didn’t wrong.

Here are the requirements for application :

1. GPA, must over that 3.00 for scale 4.0
2. TOEFL min 520
3. A motivation letter
4. A proposal of our research with topic public health and environment.
5. A letter of health examination.

You know, that punched me down again, because my TOEFL score isn’t that high, my English is the real bad. So I took another exam for my TOEFL and lobbying my Program to allow me submit my latest score after I took another exam. Then they allowed me.

But.. destiny told it ways, the score wasn’t come out before the announcement of candidates. I am failed. Not only that, in medical check up, my doctor didn’t lemme passed because my old desease attack me again so I didn’t allowed to have that letter of health examination before I finished my treatment. 

I try to lobby my program. But.. helloooo... The University wasn’t my grandpa’s properties, of course there are another applicants that have submitted their application and they’re better than me.

In the end.. I FAILED!!! JUST FAILED. And I didn’t lie if my heart hurt for did not reach my dream university. 

My close friend (she’s my classmate) passed the administration requirement, she was interviewed by university, together with another applicants from another class and from the another Program (Public Health Program) who are being interviewed. Week later, program announced if she’s (Called her Adel, Adella is her name) passed from that examination and she’s the candidate for UEHAS Program and will going to Tokyo next October. To be honest I’m jealous to her, but what can I say? I admit if she’s much better than me, and somehow I’m proud of her because after all there’s a candidate from our class that has passed. Moreover I’m swear I’m proud of her because she’s younger than me and got that talent and chance. How Lucky she is. :’)

Hence, I shouldn’t have to cry or jealous or feel betrayed or feel bad to MY self. OK, tbh I felt that. But more I’m thinking clearly with this cold head more I found the way, why Allah didn’t lemme passed. And I could found the values from this story, as following :

1.  Finally, I checked my medical record after long times ago, I knew my weakness. I’ve got treatment from doctor, and now I’m healthy again, and ofcourse I wont ignore doctor’s advice again.
2. I did TOEFL exam again, and success to passed the 520 score, well even it was just a bit higher than before but I’m happy, somehow I kinda show this good result.
3. This is just realized yesterday from my sister (cousin) Rieka, she told me “Just take the good thing from this story, your motive to go to Tokyo just for feels how the TODAI in drama is like and the most important is just to see your lovely Idol YABU KOTA, that’s why Allah wont let you passed..” and just like hitted by something in this area *point my own heart* 
4. I just wanna cry in my deep heart and wanna apologize if I just try for only to do those kind of things. Not to learn or study.. OMG what am I to be honest??? I’m sorry My Lord, God, Allah SWT. I’m sorry...

Well... after this kind of lesson, finally I understood if in that past time my motivation wasn’t right.

Yes, forgive me.. where in the world am I?

I have to work hard, learn harder, study harder in the rightway, do the reasons that have to be doing since first. Yes, I have to change! Change to be a better one.
